Brooke Wehrlin, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Wehrlin received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1997. She then went to veterinary school at Purdue University and received her DVM in 2001. Since then, Dr. Wehrlin has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery in Dutchess County alongside her husband, Dr. Preston Kellner. Dr. Wehrlin and Dr. Kellner have been happily married for almost 10 years, and have three young children. They have an Irish Setter, Gunner, and Shih Tzu, Cookie Monster, and a cat, Dude. Her other interests include horseback riding and photography.

Preston Kellner, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Kellner did his undergraduate training at Towson State University graduating with a BS Cum Laudae. He then attended Ross University and received his DVM in 1999 with Honors. Dr. Kellner has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery in Dutchess County since graduation. Dr. Kellner enjoys spending time with his young family, as well as fly fishing, fly tying, and breeding milksnakes and kingsnakes.

Grace Moretti

Office Manager

Grace has 25 years of Managerial Experience in the business sector in Westchester County. In addition, she has worked at a veterinary hospital for the past 11 years holding a multitude of responsibilities. Grace brings professionalism and compassion to our business, as well as a knowledgeable and friendly face to our clients. Grace lives in Hopewell Junction with her husband and their two Bichons, Harry and Sally.

Kim Beck, LVT

Head Technician

Kim graduated from Suny Delhi in 2009 with an A.A.S., and received her veterinary technician license shortly thereafter. She has a strong interest in Emergency and Critical Care, and hopes to specialize in this field in the near future. Besides her strong passion for veterinary science, Kim’s other interests are Giants football, romantic comedies, and photography.

David Kurlander

Behavior Specialist

David Kurlander has been rehabilitating and training dogs for over 15 years. His back ground includes working as a Wild Animal Keeper for the Bronx Zoo where he specialized in canine socialization and pack theory. David is also and certified Trainer Mentor for the Animal Behavior College. Among other things he graduated from The Natural Gourmet Cooking Institute in Manhattan and is a certified Chef and loves to cook for family and friends. His companions include two Labrador Retrievers and two American Bulldogs.

Linda Nastasi

Receptionist

Linda has a unique background which includes many years in pharmaceutical research, raising a family, and working in the catering business. She is a life long animal lover and pet owner. Her extended family has included he usual cats and dogs but over the years we’ve also had birds, a mouse (escaped from the lab!), a guinea pig (rescued from the lab!) a 4 foot iguana, a hermit crab and assorted fish. Linda is very excited to be a part of our growing business and help take care of your beloved pets.

Jasmine Jurado

Support Staff

Jasmine is currently a student at Manhattan College, studying to be a Physiologist. For the past 6 she has been blessed with the ability to assist in breeding and training German Shepherds. Jasmine currently lives in Hopewell Junction with a house full of loving animals that include 5 German Shepherds: Blaze, Felony, Jack, Zorro, Raven, 1 Brussles Griffont: Oscar, 1 Blue Chihuahua: Smokey 1 toy Poodle: Cotton 1 calico kitten: Layla 1 White Persian cat: Yoda, 1 African Grey Parrot: Pretty bird, and Bob a leopard Gecko. When not surrounded by dogs or puppies, Jasmine enjoys a growing passion and interest in riding Quarter Horses.

Support Staff

I have been working locally in this field for 17 years and have been at Ace for almost 4 years. I have my degree in animal science + veterinary technology from SUNY Ulster. At home, I have a Maltese and a Maine Coon mix. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my daughter, friends, family, and pets.
